  • BEDOUIN FEAST – Galabaya Party!

    Aug 2015
    - 19:30 -

Experience the food of the Bedouin people at Nur’s “Bedouin Feast”.

The Bedouin’s, which translates as “desert dwellers”, territory stretches across the vast deserts of Egypt to the rocky sands of the middle east. They have retained a strong cultural identity and are considered by many to be the most hospitable people in the world!

An important part of every culture is what people eat. Of course, this is also true for the Bedouin. Over the centuries, typical dishes and special ways to prepare them have been developed – secrets we are willing to pass on to our guests, you just have to come and taste it!

We have prepared a special Bedouin menu consisting of Bedouin Soup (made with a unique stock, freekeh, macaroni and pulses), Bedouin Roast Lamb or Chicken (stuffed with rice, nuts & fruits and fresh herbs and spices). These stunning dishes will be followed by a tradtional sweet of Balila and special Bedouin tea.

To get everyone in the party spirit we will have a fantastic Belly Dance display by Suraya Ahmed and we encourage anyone who has one to turn up in their Galabaya!

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 29th August at 7.30pm for a unique evening of food, festival and fun.

    Price is £29.95 per person.
